Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Track Town USA! The commitment of volunteers contributes to establishing Track Town USA as a special place for track and field athletes. The first two exciting events that we are recruiting for are the Prefontaine Classic and the USA Track & Field Championships. Both of these events will be held at Hayward Field in June 2009.
The first step to becoming a volunteer is to register in this on-line system. Complete the profile questions and be sure that you list your preferences for areas to work. After your profile is complete you will be contacted concerning the status of your application. Not all applicants will be working during each event.
As a volunteer for the USA Track & Field Championships you will receive a tee shirt and hat. You will also receive a coupon to shop at the NIKE Employee Store in Beaverton. To volunteer for Track Town USA you need to be at least fifteen years old. Each volunteer who works during the USA Track & Field Championships will be required to work at least three shifts. Each shift averages four hours.
